Efrat Halbfinger has served as Vice President Chemistry and Formulation, responsible for all aspects related to drug substances and drug product from development through cGMP manufacturing, process validation, registration and commercial production. Dr. Halbfinger has over 20 years of industrial experience in a wide range of medicinal projects in R&D, clinical phases, and commercial. Dr. Halbfinger has been at BioLineRx since 2006 and over the years has held positions of increasing responsibility in the development of pharmaceuticals. Before joining BioLineRx, Dr. Halbfinger was the Senior Research Chemist at Bio-Rad Laboratories in Israel. Dr. Halbfinger received her B.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry, M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, and Ph.D. in Medicinal and Organic Chemistry, all from Bar-Ilan University in Israel.
